We’re excited to share the release of Astra v4.11.11 – an update packed with performance enhancements, UI refinements, and important fixes to improve site-building and compatibility.
This release continues our mission to make Astra a lightweight, flexible, and highly accessible WordPress theme for all creators.
What’s Improved?
- Faster Quantity Plus/Minus Buttons – Improved WooCommerce quantity button performance by using placeholders for quicker interactions.
- RTL Compatibility Enhancements – Archive, special, and single pages now automatically swap left/right positioning for seamless RTL support.
- Style Guide Refinements – Enhanced the Site Identity section UI in the Style Guide for better clarity and usability.
- Elementor Flexibility – Added the
astra_elementor_use_default_settingsfilter to skip Elementor-specific modifications for empty posts. - Smarter Dark Mode Detection – Dark palettes (e.g., palette 4) are now correctly recognized as dark mode, even with customized colors.
- SVG Rendering Improvements – Resolved custom SVG attribute conflicts for better SVG UI rendering.
- Custom HTML Support – Introduced the
astra_html_widget_allowed_htmlfilter to allow custom HTML elements in header/footer HTML widgets.
What’s Fixed?
- Copyright Margin – Fixed an issue where the copyright element’s bottom margin wasn’t applied across all devices.
- HTML Widgets – Corrected an issue where
<select>and<option>elements appeared as plain text in header/footer HTML widgets. - Archive Title Text – Fixed responsive font sizing for text in the Archive Title section.
- Search Page Title CSS – Corrected a dynamic CSS issue in the Search Page Title section.
- Elementor CSS Cache – Fixed an issue where page title display settings weren’t updating after saving posts due to Elementor CSS cache.
